YouTube is rolling out custom thumbnails to more partners.
We’re expanding access to custom thumbnails for more YouTube partners, and over time, we aim to make them available to all partners in good standing.
In this image from Boston Media Makers, the image of Dave Bolton is the best, but in another video my selection of thumbnails might not be as good, so now I have the option to upload a custom thumbnail.
